i watched the US vs Italy game...regardless of the final score it was a hard fought game and without melo and dwades heroics the US may really have lost that game. it's amazing how they can have so much talent and lose to a team with no NBA players. it goes to show that basketball still truly is a team sport. one thing i can say is that the US team seriously needs another point guard as kirk hinrich was fully exploited by the fast italians, i would feel a lot more confident about the US teams gold medal run if they had billups or kidd to help chris paul with quaterbacking duties, chris paul though is amazing i haven't seen him play all last season and his play really impressed me

kanina pagkatapos ng game napanood ko ang hearings ng kongreso tungkol sa impeachment complaint tungkol kay gloria. it was honestly the most entertaining thing i found on television...nakakatawa sila eh parang mga bata kung nagsasagutan. nakita ko uli yung paborito kong congressman ngayon (read: sarcasm) si Congressman Cayetano. This guy has seriously been annoying me since the start of this round of impeachment complaints. ang ingay ingay ingay kase niya. for those of you that aren't familiar with him, he's the one that accused gloria of having dollar accounts in germany. kaya ako naasar sa kanya kase sa daldal niyang yan wala naman kakwentakwenta mga pinagsasasabi nya, in short, empty rhetoric (an adjective i think that can be used to describe the lot of our opposition). nung hinamon kase siya ni mike arroyo (who for the record im not a very big fan of either), na magermany with him and the media to look for these accounts, tinanggihan niya, without any reasonable explanation. para sa akin lang naman kung magiging ganyan ka kaingay panindigan mo naman...

a big reason why i still support this administration is because the opposition has failed to act maturely, honestly if we had a half decent opposition, given the president's approval rating it would have been a walk in the park to take control of government. the problem is that instead of taking advantage and showing themselves as an organized opposition offering a reasonable alternative, this opposition seems content with putting on a show and barraging our airwaves with (seemingly) baseless accusations and empty rhetoric (see i told you i was gonna use it :p) anyway unless the opposition shows something different, i can't help but vote for ate glo's people next year

i realized recently how much of a fad these commerical songs have grown to be. especially with how annoying they are. i remember the days when just a smile and the nescafe song were stuck in my head due to the constant airplay (i counted 5 in the span of an hour during their peak)...i wouldnt have expected them to become this big, now everything from mang tomas, to sunsilk, to juicy fruit seems to have its own jingle. and you know what? due to the sheer volume i guess i actually enjoy some of them (yes yes i know) haha

3. good day - bamboo : only because the barbie jingle this replaced was so annoying that i was thanking the high heavens when this replaced it it probaly didnt hurt that i was addicted to bamboo's voice at the time

2. babaeng uy, ay - sugarfree and updharmadown : i loved the tones and vocal talent display in the commercial and well for me it was enough to excuse the TERRIBLE lyrics. i love armee's voice hahaha its just so soothing

3. smile at me - rocksteddy : i can genuinely say i like this song, haha nagulat nga ako nung nalaman ko commercial siya for close up. maganda yung beat eh and well this was when i just arrived home and hungry for new OPM music
